Bill Richardson - Rating

Bill
Richardson was an obscure New Mexico Congressman when his political
skills caught the attention of President Bill Clinton, who put him on the
international, then national stage by appointing him the U.S. Ambassador to the
United Nations in 1997, and Energy Secretary in 1998, respectively.
In 2008, Bill Richardson expressed his gratitude
to Bill Clinton by snubbing
Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Presidential
nomination, instead endorsing
Barack Obama, who upon victory tried to reward Bill
Richardson with the Commerce Secretary post until a grand jury investigation led
Richardson to withdraw his name.
An active Roman Catholic, Bill Richardson adheres to the unbiblical
teachings of Roman Catholicism except on
Abortion and
Homosexual marriage; he is pro-abortion and pro-homosexual
civil unions. He also supports embryonic stem cell research.
Bill Richardson's biography lists broad political experience but his liberal social platform is
unacceptable to the
values voters, including the
conservative vote, led by the
core
evangelical vote.
Our rating of his candidacy for the Presidency of the United States is a
D+.
