Can a Christian vote for Trump?

How can a Christian vote for a man like Donald Trump?

Hello,
I was born into a Christian family in Kansas in 1948. Over the past decades I have seen our country undergo many changes, some, in fact many of them, not good. Cutting to the chase as they say, my question to you is: how can a Christian vote for a man like Donald Trump? A man who so obviously does not uphold Christian values and on further inspection is so divisive, and of ill temperament and judgmental towards his fellow Americans. I never in my life would have believed what I see to be a most disturbing turn of our country’s Christianity; away from scripture and towards republicanism dogma. If you have time, I would love to hear your take on this. Have a blessed day.

Thank you for your email. Imagine you were born 30 years earlier in Germany, an election is being held in 1943, you are aware of the holocaust being perpetrated at Auschwitz and the other concentration camps, and you have the choice of voting for a candidate who, though flawed, will end the holocaust if elected. Would you not vote for him just to end the holocaust? Every year, America murders more innocent babies than the number of people murdered annually during the holocaust. Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris support this holocaust. President Trump and Vice President Pence oppose it. Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris support homosexuality, which the Scripture unequivocally condemns as an "abomination." President Trump and Vice President Pence oppose it. Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris, who is a Hindu, do not oppose Islamization of America. President Trump and Vice President Pence do oppose it. The question facing Christian voters in this election isn't who is and isn't a flawed candidate, for both Donald Trump and Joe Biden are, although the media does not report Joe Biden stealing another man's wife or his long record of corruption. The most important question facing us in this election is, who will end this?
