Pete Buttigieg - Platform

(continued from
Pete Buttigieg Christian?)
Pete Buttigieg's 2020 platform contradicts his own
religion and
beliefs,
which he claims are
"Christian."
Pete Buttigieg's social
platform includes killing babies who are able to breathe on their own as long as
they are killed the moment before they draw their first breath, and he both
blames and falsely accuses the Bible for his pro-infanticide platform:
"If you look at an issue like choice, there’s so
many parts of the Bible that associate the beginning of life with breath that
there’s plenty of scriptural basis to reach different conclusions about that."

Below is a copy of the email sent to Pete Buttigieg asking him to name those
"so many parts of the Bible" and to
reply to a few more questions:
Dear Mayor Buttigieg,
We invite you to reply to each of the following 9 questions and requests:
1. On November 20, 2019, you stated to RollingStones.com,
"If you look at an issue like choice, there’s so
many parts of the Bible that associate the beginning of life with breath that
there’s plenty of scriptural basis to reach different conclusions about that."
Please quote at least 10 Bible passages of your claimed
"so many parts of the Bible that associate the
BEGINNING of life with breath" (emphasis added) and explain how each
passage precludes the existence of life prior to breath.
2. Jeremiah 1:4-5 records God Himself declaring that He
"formed," "knew," "sanctified" and
"ordained" the baby
"in the
womb... before" the baby was
"born":
"Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 'Before I
formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you, and I
ordained you a prophet to the nations.'" Please explain why you think God
"ordained" an inanimate object to be
"a prophet to the nations."
3. Luke 1:15 states that John the Baptist will be
"filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb." Do you
believe the baby in the womb has a soul for the Holy Spirit to fill, or do you
believe the Holy Spirit filled an inanimate object?
4. Luke 1:41 states,
"And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of
Mary, that the baby leaped in her womb." The original Greek word translated
"baby"
is βρέφος (brephos) and literally means "infant" or "baby." Do you believe the
Bible is wrong to state that the one who leaped in Elizabeth's womb is a
"baby"?
5. Exodus 21:22-23 states,
"If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that
she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished
accordingly as the woman’s husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the
judges determine. But if any harm follows, then you shall give life for life."
Do you
believe God is wrong to call the
"child" inside the woman
"life"?
6. God said in Leviticus 20:13,
"If a man lies with a male as he lies with a
woman, both of them have committed an abomination," and ordered in Leviticus
18:22,
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination."
Will you obey God and repent of your
"abomination" of lying with a male?
7. Romans 1:26-27 states,
"For this reason God gave them up to vile passions.
For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their
lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in
themselves the penalty of their error which was due." Will you
repent of what the Bible calls your
"shameful" and
"vile passion"?
8. You said at the April 8, 2019 LGBTQ Victory Brunch,
"If me being gay was a choice, it was a choice that
was made far, far above my pay grade. And that’s the thing I wish the Mike Pences of the world would understand, that if you’ve got a problem with who I
am, your problem is not with me. Your quarrel, sir, is with my creator."
Will you repent of blaming your sin on God and blaspheming Him?
9. Matthew 25:37-40 states,
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord,
when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When
did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did
we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and
say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the
least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'" Will you repent of
misquoting
"the least of
these My
brethren," which refers to Christians, as
"the
least of these," and thereby twisting the Word of God?
We look forward to your reply.
