Pete Buttigieg - Beliefs

(continued from
Pete Buttigieg Religion)
So what are the beliefs of Pete Buttigieg?
Answering this questions isn't hard
because Buttigieg speaks often and proudly about his
"Christian" beliefs
and
religion.
What are Pete Buttigieg's beliefs about the Gospel?
“What I get in the gospel when I’m in church is
protecting the stranger and the prisoner and the poor person and that idea of
welcome.” - Pete Buttigieg, CNN townhall, March 10, 2019
A "gospel" that doesn't mention sin, Jesus and His cross is no Gospel at
all. The Gospel of the Bible is that God so loved us that He died on the cross
to pay the death penalty due for our sins to grant us everlasting life in
heaven
with Him instead of everlasting punishment in the fire of
hell, which is what sinners deserve
(see
Justice of God).
What are Pete Buttigieg's beliefs about sin?
"If me being gay was a choice, it was a choice that
was made far, far above my pay grade. And that’s the thing I wish the
Mike Pences of the world would understand, that if you’ve got a problem with who I
am, your problem is not with me. Your quarrel, sir, is with my creator."
- Pete Buttigieg at an LGBTQ Victory Fund Brunch, April 8, 2019
Instead of repenting of
his sin, he blames it on
God and thereby blasphemes
Him.
What are Pete Buttigieg's beliefs about marriage?
"My marriage to [another homosexual male] has made me a better man
..." - Pete Buttigieg at an LGBTQ Victory Fund Brunch, April 8, 2019
God specified marriage to be the union of a man and a woman, as Jesus
confirmed to the Pharisees:
“Have you not read that He who
made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this
reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and
the two shall become one flesh’?” (Matthew 19:4-6)
Who is the God of Pete Buttigieg?
"My marriage to [another homosexual male] has made me a better man,
and yes Mr. Vice President, it has moved me closer to God."
- Pete
Buttigieg at an LGBTQ Victory Fund Brunch, April 8, 2019
Sin grieves the Holy Spirit and moves the sinner away from God, and closer to Satan, who
shouldn't be mistaken for God.
