What Should Christians Do During The "Gay Pride" Month?

"What should Christians do in the gay pride month of June?"

God condemned homosexuality as an "abomination" (see Homosexuality Bible Verses) and annihilated Sodom and Gomorrah after its men tried to commit homosexuality at Lot's house. Instead of repenting of this abominable sin, America now celebrates and promotes it, with pride no less, for an entire month. Here is what Christians should do during the "gay pride" month of June to stop retreating and instead advance the Gospel.

1.  Designate June The SPRIDE Month

The majority wins in democracy and there are still more Christians than homosexuals in America. Before that changes (see Is America Becoming Sodom and Gomorrah?), petition the local, state and federal representatives to designate June the Sexual Perversion Repentance, Intercession, Deliverance and Education (SPRIDE) month. If they won't, then elect representatives who will, and spend the month holding community outreach events through your churches, Christian schools and other Christian organizations to identify homosexuality as sexual perversion, call homosexuals to repentance, intercede in prayers for them and our nation, cast demons out of homosexuals who need deliverance, and educate your community on what the Bible says about Homosexuality.

2.  Reclaim "Gay"

Unhappy at being identified as homosexuals or sodomites - i.e., those who sodomize each other - homosexuals in the 1960s hijacked the word "gay", which is an adjective that means "joyful", and turned it into a noun with which to disguise their sin. They and the world need to be taught that there is nothing "joyful" about any sin, let alone one that led to annihilation.

3.  Rebuke Pride

Homosexuality is a source of great shame, not pride, which turned an angel into Satan and is never good. Sodomites should be told to repent from their sin, not be proud of it.

4.  Reclaim the Rainbow

God gave us the rainbow as a sign of His covenant to not destroy the earth again with water:

Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying: “And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your descendants after you, and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth. Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth." (Genesis 9:8-13)

The rainbow is also a sign of the brightness of God's glory:

"Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD." (Ezekiel 1:28)

Sodomites who twist this sign of God's glorious brightness and gracious covenant into a sign for their revolting sin should be taught that instead of a relatively quick drowning in a worldwide flood, they are headed for everlasting incineration in the fire of hell.

5.  Share the Gospel

Teach homosexuals that even without their homosexuality, they remain hell-bound sinners who need to heed the Gospel.
