Is America Becoming Sodom And Gomorrah?
"Is America Becoming Sodom And Gomorrah?"

America
isn't just becoming Sodom and Gomorrah. As evidenced below, America is
already more depraved than Sodom and Gomorrah in some ways.
The sin associated with
Sodom and Gomorrah of course is homosexuality:
"Now before they lay down, the men of the city,
the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter,
surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men
who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”
(Genesis 19:4-5)
While not
"all the people from every quarter"
of America are homosexuals today, a recent Gallup
poll revealed an alarming
trend. As seen below, 10.5% of America's Generation Z who were born in 1997,
1998, 1999 and had reached adulthood by 2017 identified themselves as LGBT that
year. By 2021, with those born in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 also having reached adulthood,
the percentage of America's Generation Z adults who identified themselves as LGBT
jumped to 20.8%:

This means that 28.5% of Generation Z who were born from 2000 to 2003 identified
themselves as LGBT ((10.5 x 3 + 28.5 x 4) / 7 = 20.8%) in 2021, indicating that
the percentage of those who reached adulthood from 2018 to 2021 and identified
themselves as LGBT was nearly 3 times higher than the 10.5% of those who had
reached adulthood from 2015 to 2017.
As our children get bombarded with pro-LGBT propaganda by the media and even in
their classrooms, more and more of them are experimenting with homosexuality and other
abominations that the Bible unequivocally condemns (see
Homosexuality Bible Verses). If the above trend continues, the percentage
of
Generation Z who reach adulthood in the coming years and identify themselves as LGBT will soon
approach
those of the men of Sodom and Gomorrah.
But even in the depth of their depravity, the homosexual men of Sodom and Gomorrah didn't
"marry" each other (see Luke
17:27-28), demand to be called women, take female hormones or mutilate their
genitals in grotesque attempts to become women. The depravity of America already surpasses
the depravity of Sodom and Gomorrah, which led to their annihilation:
"... So they pressed hard against the man
Lot, and came near to break down the door. But the men reached out their hands
and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. And they struck the
men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great,
so that they became weary trying to find the door. Then the men said to Lot,
“Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever
you have in the city—take them out of this place! For we will destroy this
place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the
LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.” So Lot went out and spoke to his
sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this
place; for the LORD will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to
be joking. When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying,
“Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed
in the punishment of the city.” And while he lingered, the men took hold of his
hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the LORD being
merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. So it
came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your
life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the
mountains, lest you be destroyed.” Then Lot said to them, “Please, no, my lords!
Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased
your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the
mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die. See now, this city is near
enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not
a little one?) and my soul shall live.” And he said to him, “See, I have favored
you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which
you have spoken. Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive
there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. The sun had risen upon
the earth when Lot entered Zoar. Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on
Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. So He overthrew those
cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the
ground."
(Genesis 19:9-25)
But could God really rain down
"brimstone and fire" on America?
He could, or He could have nuclear missiles rain down to destroy all the
"cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities,
and what grew on the ground".
