Ron Paul - Platform (21-30)
(continued from
Ron Paul Beliefs)
Ron Paul also
committed to answering the
questions below about his platform. To date, however, Ron Paul has
not answered these platform questions either.
Unlike his
religious beliefs, however, the
candidacy platform of Ron Paul is less of a mystery.
Ron Paul's social platform is pro-life,
death penalty
included, but Ron Paul wants the laws of the states, not the federal government,
to outlaw
abortion. His stance keeps him from supporting a federal law that
defines marriage as between one man and woman, thus making him soft on
homosexual marriage ban.
On the economic front, Ron Paul is a proponent of balanced budgets, reduction of America's national debt (see
America In Decline), and small
government, including the elimination of the federal departments of Energy,
Commerce, Interior, Education, and Housing and Urban Development.
On foreign policy, Ron Paul wants to immediately bring
the troops home from Afghanistan, close all of our military bases abroad and
withdraw from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), North Atlantic
Treaty Organization (NATO), United Nations (UN), and the World Trade
Organization (WTO).
