Ron Paul - Beliefs (11-20)
(continued from
Ron
Paul Religion)
Not surprisingly, Congressman Ron Paul did not follow through on sharing his
beliefs, and
this email remains the last
from the Ron Paul campaign about his beliefs.
Shortly after our October 2011 request for his beliefs, however, Ron Paul issued the
following statement about his beliefs:
"My faith is a deeply private issue to me, and I
don’t speak on it in great detail during my speeches because I want to avoid any
appearance of exploiting it for political gain."
- Ron Paul, October 2011
That is appreciated but
GodVoter.org isn't a speech, but a
venue that Christians visit precisely to learn about the candidates' beliefs.
"Let me be very clear here: I
have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to
follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate."
- Ron Paul, October 2011
To live up to his declaration that he endeavors
"every day to
follow Him in all I do," Ron Paul should share his
Christian testimony as God commanded:
"Always be ready to give a
defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with
meekness and fear" (1 Peter 3:5)
His answers to the questions below are important. After all,
Mitt Romney could also say,
"I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal
savior," yet we know that
Mitt
Romney's Jesus is the created older
brother of
Satan, not the Jesus of the Bible.
