Kamala Harris - Beliefs

What are the beliefs of Vice President Kamala Harris?
On Sunday, October 1, 2017, Kamala Harris spoke at the First Congregational
Church in Atlanta, Georgia and revealed a few things about her beliefs, as
quoted below.
"My mother was from India, so in addition she would
take us to a Hindu temple, to see that all faiths teach us to pursue justice."
- Kamala Harris, October 1, 2017
Kamala Harris tried to make it sound as if her Hindu mother took her to a Hindu temple to hear Hindu priests preach about pursuing justice.
This is a
lie tailored for Christians, who are used to hearing sermons at Sunday
services, as there is neither communal worship service nor preaching nor
teaching at a Hindu temple, where Hindus go on their own to repeat
mantras, offer things and worship idols and demons as Gods and Goddesses. Kamala
Harris, who is
named after a demon, lied to cover up the fact that she worshiped demons at
Hindu temples.
"Underlining it also was the age-old concept that
the Bible teaches us, the concept of redemption. Understanding, we will all make
a mistake, and for some that mistake will rise to the level of being a crime.
But is it not the sign of a just society that we allow folks a way to earn their
way back? That is the concept of redemption." - Kamala Harris, October 1, 2017
While there is nothing wrong with a society that allows criminals a way to earn
their way back into it, Kamala Harris' claim that this is the Bible's concept of
redemption displays her ignorance of the Bible, which states that we cannot
"earn" our way to redemption. The Bible's concept of redemption is that we
sinned, the penalty for which is death, and that Jesus redeemed us by paying our
death penalty for us on the cross (see
Justice of God):
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God...
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ
Jesus our Lord." - Romans 3:23 & 6:23
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having
become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a
tree')." - Galatians 3:13
"So the Book of Luke reads, 'Shine a light on those living in darkness to guide
our feet into the path of peace.' Now, I believe 'shine a light' means we must
'speak truth.' Even when we know speaking truth will often make people feel
quite uncomfortable...
Let’s speak the truth that we have been reminded of too often over these past
few months. Racism is real in this country. Sexism is real in this country.
Homophobia is real in this country." - Kamala Harris, October 1, 2017
The Book of Luke does NOT read
"Shine a light." In all English versions of the Bible, Luke 1:79 reads either
"give light" or
"shine upon"
to foretell John the Baptist exposing the sins of the people
living in the
"darkness" of their sins:
Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit,
and prophesied, saying: ... “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the
Highest; for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, to
give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins,
through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has
visited us; to
give light
to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to
guide our feet into the way of peace.” So the child grew and became strong in
spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his manifestation to Israel.
- Luke 1:67, 76-80
"Phobia" is the irrational fear of something. Christians do not fear
homosexuality, and our opposition to homosexuality is
Biblical, not irrational. Yet, while twisting Scripture to support her point
that
"we must 'speak truth.' Even when we know
speaking truth will often make people feel quite uncomfortable ...," she stands
against the truth by siding with homosexuals and labeling
Biblical opposition to homosexuality an irrational fear.
