"How can you call [Mormonism] a cult? [Mormons] are such a nice people?"
We call Mormonism a cult because Mormonism is a cult. The
nice people among Mormons do not define whether or not Mormonism is a
cult. The quotes below from the founder, presidents and leaders of Mormonism
will indicate whether Mormonism isn't a cult, or actually is a cult.
Mormonism claims that God wasn't always God, but started as a mere man:
"God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man,
and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!... We have imagined that God was God from
all eternity. I will refute that idea and take away the veil, so that you may
see." (Teachings of the Prophet
Joseph Smith, page 345)
Mormon
ism claims that human beings can become God:
"The Lord created you and me for the purpose of becoming
Gods like Himself; when we have been proved in our present capacity, and been
faithful with all things He puts into our possession. We are created, we are
born for the express purpose of growing up from the low estate of manhood, to
become Gods like unto our Father in heaven." (Brigham Young, Journal
of Discourses 3:93)
"Logically and naturally, the ultimate desire of a loving
Supreme Being is to help his children enjoy all that he enjoys. For Latter-day
Saints, the term ‘godhood’ denotes the attainment of such a state - one of
having all divine attributes and doing as God does and being as God is."
(Encyclopedia of Mormonism 2:553)
Mormon
ism claims that salvation is through
Joseph Smith:
"No man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom
of God without the consent of Joseph Smith... Every man and woman must have the
certificate of Joseph Smith as a passport to their entrance into the mansion
where God and Christ are." (Journal of Discourses 7:289)
"Every spirit that confesses that Joseph Smith is a
Prophet, that he lived and died a Prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true,
is of God, and every spirit that does not is of anti-Christ."
(Brigham Young, History of the Church 7:287)
As for Christ Himself, Mormon
ism claims that
Jesus and Satan are brothers
(for evidences, please

A creature trying to become the Creator is what turned Lucifer, an angel, into
a demon, and there is no greater blasphemy than the lie that Jesus,
our perfectly holy God, is the brother of Satan, the perfectly evil enemy of God.
