Churches attended include all of the mainline denominations and non-denominations, but

neither represents nor is part of any particular church or (non-)denomination.
"Aren't the candidates' Christian testimonies
something personal and confidential?"
They are personal but not confidential. Throughout
the Bible, everyone Jesus
healed and helped had the privilege, as well as the duty, to testify about
what He had done for them. For example, the woman in
Luke
8:43-48 and
Mark 5:25-34 suffered from a condition so
embarrassing and personal that she couldn't even ask Jesus to heal her of it. Yet, when
Jesus
healed her anyway, she was required to testify before a crowd about what He had
done for her. Giving a
Christian testimony is as much a duty and privilege of
Christians today
as it was 2000 years ago.
