Pro-lifers say abortion is murder but pro-choicers say abortion is not murder. Who
Whether or not abortion is murder ultimately hinges on what is a baby - a human
being - and what isn't yet a baby, but merely a "zygote," an "embryo" or a
"fetus." You can perceive and judge for yourself so don't let others tell you
what to think.
Draw your own conclusion on whether or not abortion is murder by using this
simple two step test:
Step #1: Please look carefully at the photos
below and count how many of them show babies and how many of them don't. Here is the first photo:
Step #2: So... how many of the twelve photos above show babies and how many don't?
Do five of the photos show babies and seven of them don't? Is it eight versus
versus two, three versus nine ... or do all of the photos show babies? If
unsure, do you want to view them again?
Should abortion be allowed at least in cases of incest or rape?
Imagine that after a brutal attack and rape by a relative, a woman ends up in coma and becomes pregnant.
Imagine also that she remains in her coma for several years, during which time the baby
growing in her reaches
full term and is delivered by caesarean section.
When the woman finally wakes up from her coma, learns that the child near her is hers
from the incestuous rape and requests the child be killed, would
you kill that child?
(Incestuous) rape is a despicable crime for which the
perpetrator deserves the full punishment allowed by law. But the child in such a
case is another victim of the crime, not its perpetrator.
Justice for a crime requires the punishment of the guilty party, not the
murder of an innocent (see Justice of God for the exception), whether inside or outside the womb.
What about an early abortion?
The notion of an 'early' abortion is changing.
Not long ago,
people considered a baby
to be a human being only after birth. Prenatal
imaging technology forced the baby to be recognized as a human being before birth and increasingly early in the pregnancy
as prenatal imaging and other medical technologies advanced and continue to advance.
The two photos below can easily be added to the photos above. The first is of a 16
week-old baby (early second trimester) and the second, a baby who
is just 8 weeks-old (first trimester). What do you think? Do either of them not
look like a baby to you?
If you're considering an early abortion, consider
that a generation ago, before
prenatal imaging became popular, women routinely aborted babies during the
third trimester after assurance that they will not be killing a baby. Today,
they live with the guilt of having killed their own babies.
If you have an early abortion today after assurances that you
won't be killing a baby, how will you feel in a couple of decades when continued scientific
advances redefine the baby you killed as a human being? Aren't the photos above
evidence enough that you are already a mother?
Below is an email from a young lady who answered this question.
"To whom it may concern,
I would just like to say thank you so much for pointing out the facts about
abortion. I am ashamed to admit that since I realised my period was late, I was
reading up on 'early abortions'. Aborting before 6 weeks is considered
by medical profession to be something that just brings on a period and I was
reading about the feotus at week 4 and it showed on various websites that there
is no feotus at that stage and no heartbeat. I figure I am about 3 weeks max.
pregnant so I thought that since there is no 'life' there as yet I wouldn't be
committing murder and I thought that God doesn't breath life into the feotus
until over 100 days old. Plus if there is no heart beat and no brain or nerves
it's not like a living creature but just an embryo. I was seriously going to
book an appointment with the doc to have a tablet to take.
But, now having seen your website, there's no way I can
do it. It's just not worth the
risk that I would be committing murder and murder of an innocent baby is the
worst murder. This baby wasn't planned and it's not the best time for me and I
have loads of excuses but nothing gives me the excuse to take a life. Only God
can do that.
I am not Christian actually. I am Muslim but in Islamic belief we still consider
the authentic bible that hasn't been changed to be the work of God and we
consider Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them) to be prophets. I didn't know this
about the feotus and now I am so glad I do. There are so many girls I know
(Christian, Muslim, Jewish) who have already had abortions and who do just
consider it to be like cells in their body. Of course I will never judge them
because for a short time I even contemplated taking a tablet to induce a
miscarriage, but that was before I typed in "is abortion murder" in Google and I
believe God gave me the answer through your website.
I would like to support your organisation and I would like to spread the truth
about abortion. I don't blame the girls. I blame the medical profession. They
make it so accessible that it's nothing and the government supports it every
inch of the way.
If you send me a flyer or information I can forward it onto all of my friends
and then they can forward onto their friends.

shares your joy and relief but accepts no credit for God saving your

You also wrote that you consider Jesus to be a prophet. Here is a question that may
interest you: can someone who claims to be God
be a prophet? Please see Lord, Liar,
Also expressed was a doubt about the authenticity of the Bible. Muslim Imams claim that the Bible has been changed but
don't provide evidence of when and how such changes supposedly were made. Here is a short discussion on the
authenticity of the New Testament
manuscripts, and one on the difference between Allah and the
