Status: Governor Romney has withdrawn from the
Presidential race.
While we would appreciate Mitt Romney
's testimony,
its lack isn't a surprise since
question 15 is one that Mormons
avoid. Why?
One of the teachings of Mormonism kept well-hidden from non-Mormons is the
belief that Jesus and Satan started out as brothers: Jesus did well and became God, while Satan
did badly and became the devil (
click here for the evidences). Mormons also believe that good conduct in
this life will enable them to become God someday, like Jesus a generation ago
(click above).
A belief system which teaches Jesus - the perfectly holy Creator -
to be the brother of Satan - the perfectly evil creature - is an abomination
that dishonors
Christ. And the fallacy that a creature can become the
Creator is precisely
what turned Lucifer, the angel of light, into Satan, and is therefore Satanic.
Mitt Romney
's business credentials are stellar; Mitt Romney made a lot of money
by tailoring his companies' offerings to appeal to their customers. Now Mitt
Romney is
tailoring himself to appeal to conservative voters. But moral convictions cannot
be peddled as products and his record betrays his disguise: Mitt Romney is a social liberal in an
ill-fitting conservative suit.
Even if Mitt Romney held true convictions, Christians
cannot
vote for someone who not only belongs to but is also a leader of a Christ-dishonoring cult that tries to pass
itself off as Christian while teaching Satanic lies about Jesus
(
We have issued a
disdorsement of
the Romney
candidacy, which is rated an
F.
