According to Mitt Romney's Mormon beliefs, Lucifer and Jesus were brothers in the beginning; Jesus obeyed the Father and turned into God, while Lucifer disobeyed and turned into Satan. And according to the beliefs that Mitt Romney has taught as a Mormon High Priest, Mormons who adhere to the Mormon beliefs will one day also become gods like Jesus (evidence); Mitt Romney's good deeds in this life are intended to turn him into God someday. Are such Mormon beliefs really the beliefs of Mitt Romney? “I believe in my Mormon faith, and I endeavor to live by it. My faith is the faith of my fathers. I will be true to them and to my beliefs." (Mitt Romney, December 6, 2007) There is no greater blasphemy than believing and teaching that Jesus, our perfectly holy God, is the brother of Satan, the perfectly evil enemy of God. And the fallacy that creature can become the Creator is what turned Lucifer, the angel of light, into Satan, and is therefore Satanic. Mormonism tends to have a nice facade. Most Mormons are clean cut, speak and behave well. Behind the facade, however, is a group whose beliefs can only be described as those of a cult. During the 2008 presidential race, we repeatedly asked Mitt Romney if he believed Jesus and Satan were brothers (see question #15 below).
