Michele Bachmann Positions

Michele Bachmann - Positions

Michele Bachmann Positions(continued from Michele Bachmann Beliefs)

We now consider Michele Bachmann's positions on key issues.

Michele Bachmann's positions on social issues include banning all abortions, including after rape or incest (see Abortion Is Murder), as well as all homosexual marriages (see Bible Verses About Homosexuality); Michele Bachmann supports a Constitutional amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

On the economic front, Michele Bachmann's positions include phasing out Social Security and Medicare, eliminate the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as well as the federal minimum wage, and repeal the recently enacted federal healthcare coverage law.

While Michele Bachmann has been a small business owner and a tax attorney, her business experience is relatively limited and this is reflected in the lack of depth in the economic plan she has proposed.

In fairness to her, it should be noted that none of the economic plans proposed by the other Presidential Candidates can resolve America's national debt or federal deficit issues (see America In Decline).

On the foreign policy front, Michele Bachmann strongly supports Israel and does not rule out a pre-emptive military strike against Iran's nuclear program. Her foreign policy experience is limited but as a member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, she does receive briefings from both the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA). She also opposes granting amnesty to illegal immigrants already inside the country.
